WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE USE IT?

Newsletter
We offer you the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. This requires registration by e-mail and your express consent to receive the newsletter. Based on your consent, we process the personal data you voluntarily provide for the purpose of sending you information about the Healthy Minds project. This information includes relevant project updates, invitations to professional events, networking events, and, if applicable, surveys during the project. You have the option to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, for example by e-mail or by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the footer of our e-mails. In the event of a revocation of consent, the data previously stored about you will be anonymized and subsequently only used for statistical purposes without personal reference. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent before the revocation.

HOW LONG WILL MY PERSONAL DATA BE STORED?

We do not store your data for longer than we need it for the respective processing purposes. If the data is no longer required for the fulfilment of contractual or legal obligations, it will be deleted. The following are the storage periods determined by us: Healthy Minds – Newsletter: until your revocation or until the end of the Healthy Minds research project (31.03.2027) at the latest.

To the extent necessary, we transfer your personal data to external service providers (processors) and recipients, as follows:

Our processors process your personal data exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions to provide the above services.

They have the right to information (whether and which personal data about them has been stored), correction, supplementation or deletion (of personal data that is incorrect or not processed in accordance with the law), restriction as well as data portability and, under certain circumstances, the right to revocation and objection.

DETAILS OF THE USE OF COOKIES

USAGE

During your visit to this website, the Medical University of Innsbruck collects the following information: browser type, version and language setting, model name of the end device and a generic device identifier, operating system used, website from which the user reached the website of the Medical University of Innsbruck (referrer URL), website(s) visited, date and time of access as well as anonymised IP address of the user’s computer.

This data is usually anonymised and used for statistical purposes in order to optimise the website of the Medical University of Innsbruck. In addition, this data is stored using the open-source tool Matomo, which is operated by the Medical University of Innsbruck, provided that there are no legal obligations against storage. In cases of detected attacks on the website, the data may be stored for a longer period of time in order to carry out the investigation. The information you provide will be deleted after the purpose has been fulfilled, unless there are any legal obligations or interests to the contrary.
